Before Das Flipperhaus
We have some explaining to do.
Das Flipperhaus is the evolution of a business between two friends. What started as a wholesaling operation for classic arcade and pinball equipment in the Sacramento area eventually grew into a local gaming route—and ultimately, a pinball destination of our own.
Like many small businesses, we faced unexpected challenges during COVID-19. As our route downsized, a large number of games returned to our warehouse due to circumstances outside our control. Rather than letting those machines sit unused, we decided to take matters into our own hands.
By designing our own public location, we created a space that reflects everything we love about pinball—one that’s family-friendly, great for date nights, and built for pinball lovers, pinball bar enthusiasts, and people just like you. Das Flipperhaus became a place where games are cared for, competition is friendly, and everyone feels welcome.
Oh, and the name… well, maybe we just like movies about drinking beer.
